Get Receipts. is a publisher of public-records guidance. We compile and organize information about publicly available government databases, court portals, and records-request procedures. We do not provide consumer reports as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.
Permitted Uses
The directory and related materials are intended for personal research only. Permitted uses include personal safety research, self-research, family or custody preparation, and general public-records education.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Get Receipts. materials as the basis for any decision regarding: employment, housing, credit, insurance, or any other purpose regulated under the FCRA. This service is expressly not for tenant screening, employment background checks, or credit evaluation.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
Public records change. Portal URLs become outdated. Agency policies shift. We make no representation that any listed source is current, complete, or accurate. You are responsible for verifying information directly with the originating agency.
Place Matching Provider
When you choose to match a city, town, or remembered place during case-file setup, Get Receipts sends only that location phrase to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service. The subject's name and the other contents of your case file are not included in that request. We use the returned geography to identify a county, then confirm that county against the Get Receipts directory before you add it to the file.
